I am running TechComm Suite 2017 and want to try out the Ocean and Indigo theme but where are they? I have only acces to Azure... Can they be downloaded somewhere?

Mangal font reverts to Times Roman in PDF
I'm on Windows 10, using Frame 2017 and Acrobat DC.
I have a Word doc that contains one line in Mangal Unicode font.
I distill it to a PDF and it looks fine.
I open the Word doc in Frame 2017. Line looks fine. I distill it to a PDF and the font reverts to boxes because the font has been substituted with Times Roman.
So I tried copying the line into Illustrator, distill it, PDF is fine.
I'm using the same Distiller options on all 3.Why is it not distilling properly from Frame?

How to find all tables and change the table tag?
Hello there!
Table tags are not consistently used in my book. I want to apply a specific table tag for all the tables in my book. Is there any quickest way to search for all tables and apply the table tag to all?
NOTE:
- I already have table tags created.
- I use FM 12
- I know that I can select Any Table in the Find field.
How to apply the table tag for all at once?

FrameMaker 12 problem
In FrameMaker 12, when I click on a graphic inside an anchored frame the program goes into a half minimised, half broken view. When I try to click on the tools they tend to not be exactly where you click. Any ideas how to fix this?

Can I generate a Mini TOC on a page that uses a different Master Page.
Using Framemaker 2017
I would like to generate a mini toc but have it appear with a different master page from what the body pages were created from.
Provided that the "text flow frame" is named the same as the body pages, once generated could the MTOC be copied or moved to a different page (with a different master page)? Or can it only live within the same text flow as the body page from which it was generated?

Change cross reference color
When I insert cross reference the default color is black. Is there a way to change the cross reference color to blue such that every time I insert the cross reference the font color is blue automatically

Why does the keyword Index search capability not work in Responsive HTML5 output with FM 14.0.3.500 upgrade?
Ever since I upgraded FM 2017 to 14.0.3.500 in early December, 2017, the keyword Index search capability no longer works in my Responsive HTML5 output (an online Help system). If you type in the search bar of the Index, nothing happens. Previously, the Index would immediately start offering keywords starting with the string that was input. I did not change anything in my settings files. Any idea why the keyword Index search no longer works?

Save as... not working for some files
Hi Folks, I'm using FM 2017 Release (unstructured) and am encountering problems with the Save as command being grayed out. I opened a legacy FM9 document and after modifying it wanted to Save as [a new file name] but it would only allow me to Save, not Save as a new filename. Any ideas??
I'm referring to the normal Save as command, not Save as PDF or any of the other commands all of which seem to work as expected.
The problem occurs with some files but not with others. I thought perhaps that this was a problem with legacy FM files but other legacy files worked just fine. I also tried first saving the legacy file in the current format (normal Save command works) but still cannot Save as...

Save As PDF (F_ApiSave) occasionally overwriting random PDFs
Our production environment is experiencing a random bug that is very difficult to reproduce. Every now and then (about 1 in 100), when our customised code saves out a PDF, it fails to create the PDF it was supposed to and instead overwrites a random PDF in the user's Documents folder, preserving only the filename. To be clear, nothing at all in our customised code goes anywhere near the Documents folder.
This is the snippet of code which saves the PDF:

Unfortunately due to the difficulty in reproducing this bug, I have not yet had it occur while debugging the program, so I haven't been able to inspect the input paramaters, returned doc id or return props when the bug occurs. However, I am confident the input parameters are correct, because I have tested changing tgtBookId to 0 and this is handled. Also as you will see in the proceeding screenshots, the correct PDFFileName is being passed to Distiller (nothing to do with Documents).
Calling the above code executes Distiller (presumably the FDK does this), which creates the PDF. This is what Distiller looks like when everything is normal and the PDF is created:
And this is what Distiller looks like when the bug occurs:
As you can see, the PDF File has .LOG extension instead of .pdf. What's more concerning though is the size of the source file is 0 bytes. I can only assume that the source file (S15_0322_v24.tps) is created by the FDK, because our customised code does not create this file, and the only thing we pass to F_ApiSave is the book id. I assume the FDK creates this temporary file based off the book id and passes it to Distiller, which makes me think this is a bug either with the FDK or with Distiller. The most concerning part of all however, is that even though the Distiller log says "No PDF produced", it has now actually overwritten a random PDF in the user's Documents folder! The PDF is automatically opened in Acrobat, which never happens when the correct PDF is made as in the first screenshot.
This has only started happening since we recently updated all of our hardware and software to the following:
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)
Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1703 (64-bit)
Adobe FrameMaker 2017 Version 14.0.3.500
FDK 2017
Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 Version 2017.011.30066
Adobe Acrobat Distiller Professional Version 17.11.30059238004
Previously we were running Windows 8, FrameMaker 11 and Acrobat Pro XI.
My questions are:
1) Is this issue familiar to anyone?
2) How is the temporary *.tps source file being created? Does the FDK create it? How is it getting a size of 0 bytes when this bug occurs?
3) When Distiller gets a source file with 0 bytes, how is it overwriting a random PDF in Documents with all the contents of the FrameMaker book? There is no mention of Documents in our customised code, or in the Distiller logs. Documents does however seem to be the default Save To path in Acrobat - the only correlation I can find, and the 'random' PDF happens to always be the last opened PDF in Acrobat.
I hope someone is able to help, as sooner or later it's going to overwrite someone's really important PDF.

FrameMaker 2017 displays images tiny (DITA 1.2)
Hi all,
I suppose something in the read/write rules has changed, but before digging into the issue I thought I'd ask the forum.
We have migrated from FM2015 to 2017 and now images in paragraphs display very small. As you can see in the screenshot, this image is about 50pt wide but the size properties are ignored. Manual resizing is lost when the file is saved. Any ideas?

A question for those that have purchased Adobe Technical Communite Suite bundle
Hi,
I have a 3 versions of Adobe. Tech. Comm. Suite on my computer. I removed the oldest bundle (3.5) due to lack of disk space...but then realized that bundle included the ONLY copy of Photoshop I have! Do you know if it's possible to only install Photoshop from that bundle???? I looked at my account's download page and there's only a link to download the bundle, not each software program separately.
I need it desperately...

Odd published result of cross-reference format conversion
Hello. Here is a strange problem ...
I am using FM 2015 in a Win 10 environment.
My document uses cross-reference formats that sometimes include a page number variable.
This cross-reference setup:
<Hyperlink>Figure\ <$paranumonly> on page\ <$pagenum><Default Para Font>
produces this cross-reference in the .fm file:
For online help, I want only the figure number with no page number. In the Publish Settings/Style Mapping options, I select <$paranum> only:
The result consistently appends empty spaces to the link. I can't figure out where they are coming from. (This problem does not occur when I convert my HeadingPage formats, which follow almost the exact same pattern.)
I would think the spaces come from the spaces in the cross-reference format (like the space between "on" and "page") but, as I say, the same result does not occur with my HeadingPage conversion.
All suggestions welcome. I'll simply create parallel xrefs and put conditions on them for the different outputs, if I must, but the conversion settings are so much easier when they work ...

CMS integration with SharePoint 2016?
According to Adobe's site at http://www.adobe.com/se/products/framemaker/cms-integration.html, FrameMaker doesn't support integration with Sharepoint at later versions than 2013 and since we have Sharepoint 2016 in our organization, this is an issue.
I tried emailing the contact person on that site, and got rerouted to a representativ that said they didn't officially supported SharePoint 2016 but it "should ideally work" and I could try it out if I wanted and let them know if that wasn't the case.
Since we are in the process of evaluating different document processors (FrameMaker is one), we don’t want to validate compatibility - we need to know if SharePoint 2016 is planned to be supported as a CMS for FrameMaker in the near future. We don't want to learn later on that Adobe's support for SharePoint integration ended with version 2013.

FM 2017 Publish Crashes Every Time
I've just upgraded from FM12 to FM 2017 with intent to utlize some of the new HTML publishing features. I have been publishing content from DITA source to HTML5 from FM12 successfully for some time now.
In FM 2017, I have a very basic DITA Bookmap with only 2 short topics as a simple test setup. Every time I try to publish anything to HTML5 or simple HTML, FM has a hard crash and generates no output.
I tried these same files on my other machine that hasn't been upgraded yet and they publish just fine.
Any idea why FM2017 is crashing every time (100% without fail) I click Publish? Is there some step I'm missing in FM2017? This is a brand new, clean installation and all available updates have been installed.

F9 stopped working
Having a thorny issue in FrameMaker 12 (unStructured). My F9 key to bring up the Paragraph Format pop-up no longer works. Indeed, my keyboard stopped working in Frame entirely. I've tried making sure the CAPSLOCK key is off, the F-lock key is in the right state, the document is not locked, rebooted, uninstalled / reinstalled Frame. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

framemaker pdf paragraph text line cut off
When I produce PDF with Framemaker, the paragraph text in PDF are cut off by lines. Because when I copy paragraphs from produced PDF and pasted those paragraphs in Notepad, paragraph text lines are cut off.
Is there a solution for this?
I remember that with Indesign, I can chect "Create tagged PDF" to prevent paragraph text in produced PDF being cut off.

Framemaker 15 Publisher Woes - ignores HTML5 layout settings
Hello fellows,
I've imported an SLZ file through the FM Publisher HTML5 Settings dialog and I set the following to False:
Show Index
Show Glossary
Show Filter
Show Search Results in...
When I compile the HTML5, the layout still includes all these elements. I can't figure out why the layout settings are ignored by the publisher. Any ideas?
I did the same in Robohelp, and the settings are treated as expected. I guess there is some nasty bug in the publisher.

AI image imported at different sizes when anchored to different para styles
This is not a behavior that happens when I create a brand new FM 2017 document but in a legacy UNSTRUCTURED FM document that was created years ago probably with TCS 5. I'm currently using FM 2017 on a Windows 10 PC.
When I import (via File>Import>File) the same Illustrator AI image by inserting my cursor in different parts of the document (i.e., when the image is anchored in different paragraph styles) I get images of different sizes.
I'm pretty sure this behavior is somehow linked to the way different para styles are configured in my document but since there are not image-related variables/settings in Para Designer, I have no idea why this is happening and what I need to do to import AI images at their original (or fitting-in-column) sizes.
