The FM12 licence we ordered last July has not yet been installed – don't ask; please don't ask: it's embarrassing and annoying and no wise my fault – and, consequently, I still haven't been able to book my training.
So, I now find myself with a stack of compliant DITA files where I've really enjoyed developing structured content, and a requirement to publish them "looking like the existing documentation". One possible route seems to be
- open .dita files in FM (structured interface, of course)
- discard structure
- massage styles
- screw on happy professional smile and hand over results as familiarly handsome .pdf
Given this uninspiring scenario, what's the quickest way to discard the structure: all I remember from earlier experiments is that opening a structured file with the non-structured interface will do the trick, but I was wondering whether there might be any less cumbersome way.
