quickest way to discard structure – my apologies :-}

The FM12 licence we ordered last July has not yet been installed – don't ask; please don't ask: it's embarrassing and annoying and no wise my fault – and, consequently, I still haven't been able to book my training.

So, I now find myself with a stack of compliant DITA files where I've really enjoyed developing structured content, and a requirement to publish them "looking like the existing documentation". One possible route seems to be

  1. open .dita files in FM (structured interface, of course)
  2. discard structure
  3. massage styles
  4. screw on happy professional smile and hand over results as familiarly handsome .pdf

Given this uninspiring scenario, what's the quickest way to discard the structure: all I remember from earlier experiments is that opening a structured file with the non-structured interface will do the trick, but I was wondering whether there might be any less cumbersome way.
