/Adding revision numbering to each page. Already in Master Page, now how do I apply markers to each page

I created a structured document several years ago. Each page is version tracked and the whole document is tracked using a List of Effective pages usings the LEP markers add on. Now I am making amendments to individual pages and I would like to update the revision date and number for each page but I am running into an issue. Currently H/F $1 = revision date and H/F $2 = revision number. These markers are references on the master page footer.
Original issue was November 1, 2015 and for example if I update page 10, I insert markers to update the revision to the current date (April 17, 2017) and revision number 1. Now every page moving forward from page 10 will have these numbers when I only wish to change page 10. Is their a way to add default markers to each page so when I update page 10...it only updates page 10 in this scenario?
I hope my description makes sense. This is a 300 page document split into 10 chapters so I don't want to do anything over again just ideally add editable markers to each page so I can update the revision status of each individually.

Can I generate a TOC, LOC, and LOF in a FrameMaker 10 file without creating a separate file or a book?
I have a small document that doesn't seem to warrant a book. Can I generate lists and their reference pages inside a FrameMaker file without creating another file that becomes a book?
I have tried embedding a standalone TOC but can't get it to work with references page to create ellipses that precede page numbers, or any other formatting.

Does anybody have to convert a CMM to framemaker from Interleaf?
Does anybody have to convert a CMM to Framemaker from Interleaf? If so, what is the process? I can bring in files into Framemaker and format them. But they are not structured. Once I get them into Framemaker I will need to output in structured PDF and XML. Is there any training on how to do this or know where I can get some training? Any and all help is welcome.

Restructuring elements with Scripting
Hello All,
I have the following issue. I am working with a milspec document. We are working with tables in flight manual context.
Our correct element structure for a table is as follow:

The problem is when we run our conversion table on the legacy data, Frame is not putting the element "Tgroup" in the structure. The following is what we get after running our conversion table:

I wanted to write a script or macro that would correct the element structure for me. Any suggestions?

Unscaled images in responsive HTML, not limited by the AFrame
Hello,
In my unstructured Frame Maker Document I use AFrames to scale the images (mostly screen shots) to the paper size. I use always 150 dpi and the quality is very good in the PDF output (3,200 pages) and in the chm file using WebWorks.
I am now evaluating FM2017 Responsive HTML feature to replace local chm to a hosted Web Help.
Option A:
The responsive HTML may ignore the AFrame size and the scaling and use the 100% best image quality. This makes the images greater but destroys the layout. (Not an issue in my case, because all screenshots uses full left to right in the page)
Option B:
The scale and size uses the original AFrame size. This will keep the orginal layout.
Offering a zoom feature, the user can click on the scaled image to see a popup with the 100% orginal image.
The zoom feature would be nice. But even, if I include the java script part, the images rendered in the ./assets folder are already scaled?

FM-14: Tool bar flyout definition not working anymore
I have posted this in the beta-test forum, but this may be a better place...
In FM-13 the tool bar has these buttons (in FM-14 I'm not yet successfull to see the icons, but the 'ordinary' buttons work):
FM-14: Using a button which leads to a flyout definition (as used successfully in FM-13) I get the error:
FrameMaker No expression selected in an equation.
With all due respect: this is nonsense. The current location for the all of the intended functions must be in a paragraph, not in an equation. The code seems to be scrambled: I do not get this error, if the cursor is in an Equation for the first two cases (RulerAlignMenu, RulerTAbsMenu), but a tilt for the third case (RulerPgfActionsMenu)

I see that the word flyout is used extensively in the menu (even in FM_13), for example:

Easy question, Why is Framemaker Structured Dropping the Image
Hi again. I'm getting it down, however in structured when, I click on the red graphic box to add my graphic. Select the image, make sure copy into document is checked, select "fit in selected rectangle", click set. I look at everything "figure title, graphic, fm.graphic, fm.title, fm.titleref" , everything looks great. I put in a cross-reference, everything looks great.
So, I save and close, then reopen. The graphic is missing, and error for unresolved cross-references come up.
Why won't it save the image?

Why don't my imported graphics stay transparent?
Using FrameMaker 13.0.
When I import a graphic (.png file) whose background shows as transparent everywhere else (Word, Photoshop, InDesign), it becomes opaque and covers everything underneath it. I've not had this happen before until recently and can't find a setting that appears to need to change. Any ideas?

Basic CMS for FrameMaker
Hi,
I've inherited a few thousand pages of unstructured FrameMaker documentation for our software product. I want to make updating it more manageable with a CMS. I get paid to be a software engineer so I'm just interested in something very basic (and moderately priced) that will be easy to set up and use. There are two other people who will be collaborating with me to keep the documentation updated. I'm looking for as many of the following features as possible:
- a central repository
- version history
- check-out/check-in functionality
- the ability to search for content
- the ability to edit/view FM from within the CMS
From my research it seems like AEM, SharePoint, and Documentum are well integrated with FM but are probably overkill for what I want. Does anyone have any suggestions/comments?

FM-14: Custom icons not accepted
There are severe problems to customise FM-14: Either code has been messed up or the technique has completely changed without documenting it.
This all has worked perfectly in FM-13. See my website.
For tests I change temporarily the files in %appdata%\Adobe\FrameMaker\14\ (user area)
In WorkSpaces\UnStructured\WYSIWYGView\toolbars\table_format.xml :
from
<images base="S_ADDCOLS"/>
to
<ACTION command="AddColumnsToRight" tooltip="Add Column to Right"> <images base="etb_ADDCOLS"/> </ACTION>
In the user area I have these icon files extracted (and renamed) from fmcustom.dll:

The button does not appear in the toolbar and for the (in the tool bar) following buttons the function and icon are out of sync:
The function is that of the missing icon and this is what the tool tip displays!
If have tried all sorts of naming for the custom icon file. Nothing works (the first is in subdir etb_icons):

Can't change book numbering properties
Using FM15. The book numbering properties section is grayed out, so I can't change whatever attributes it has. This is a problem because it's not letting me change chapter numbering at the file level. When I go to generate the book, it says the file properties are different than the book properties, so it's overwriting the chapter numbering I've put in with whatever it thinks it is supposed to be at the book level - which is wrong. So I have two chapter 4's with no way to change them.

Photoshop version 2015.5
When I started my subscription I downloaded the latest version 2017. My school uses 2015.5 so I updated my version.
Now when I open my photoshop 2015 version it says I can have a free trial for 30 days but need to purchase it after the trial period.
I need to use it now to complete an assignment. Please sort this out for me.
